- January 28 - “Paths to Recovery and Restoration” Webinar - Coleman Health Services, Kent, OH”
The following are being provided to a private, national corporate group:
- Feb 3 - “The Role of Guided Imagery in Recovery and Healing Long COVID”
- Description: The focus of this webinar is to understand what guided imagery is, the evidence-based benefits, and how to include imagery to effectively relieve some Long COVID (LC) symptoms such as: stress, anxiety, fatigue and difficulty sleeping. The session includes an experiential guided imagery meditation.
- Feb 10 - “Healing Long COVID-related Emotions: Fear, Anger, Guilt and Shame”
- Description: Persons living with LC often report feeling caught up in these uncomfortable feelings. When held in, these emotions can contribute to high blood pressure, chronic inflammation, chronic stress, anxiety, heart disease, depression, irritable bowel, recurrent headaches and more. Learn effective ways to address these normal emotions, express and release in healthy ways. The session includes an experiential guided imagery meditation.
- Feb 17 - “Recovery from Long COVID: Enjoying Eating Again”
- Description: The cells in your body have memory. For those experiencing loss of taste and smell, if you have tasted a lemon, your cells remember the sweet/tartness of the juice and how your mouth watered. Perhaps now just thinking of a juicy lemon causes this response. Guided imagery is an effective practice to learn how to reawaken your sense of taste and smell and help your body return to normal function.
- Dealing with Post-COVID: Guided imagery is also a very effective practice to reduce and stop nausea and vomiting. The guided imagery meditation includes addressing taste and smell and nausea and vomiting.
- Feb 24 - “Healing and Recovery from Long COVID: Guided Imagery for Heart and Lungs”
- Description: Some individuals with LC have experienced difficulty breathing comfortably, chronic cough and may also focus on their heart function in ways that increase their stress and cause anxiety. What we give attention to, grows. Research shows that practicing meditation and guided imagery can relieve stress, reduce anxiety, contribute to more comfortable breathing and help to regulate the heart’s rhythm. This session includes an experiential guided imagery meditation.
- Mar 3 - “Remembered Wellness: To Heal and Recover”
- Description: When we are sick or don't feel well, we naturally recall times when we felt energetic, strong, capable and having vibrant health. Research shows when we purposely recall and imagine those positive times and experiences, the cells of our body-mind are reactivated, and we feel better. Learn how to use guided imagery to help re-awaken your vibrant energy. This session includes an experiential guided imagery meditation.
